What Can I Do For You?

Hello, I am Julie (51), and I am passionate about strength training, although this has not always been the case! I was once completely sedentary, 22 stone and wearing size 30 clothes. Something had to change, everything in my life was being negatively affected by my significant size and I was far from healthy.

In October 2019 I took the opportunity of a lifetime to join Kiss Gym, hire a personal trainer and change my life forever. I spent the next 3 years strength training at least 5 days a week, as well as transforming my diet and nutrition. To date, I have lost just over 9 stone, practically halved my body weight and I am fitter than I have ever been at any point in my life! There have also been several unexpected benefits along the way; I have made many new friends, gained self-confidence, significantly improved my mental wellbeing, I sleep better, and I genuinely enjoy living a much more active and healthier lifestyle.

I have now taken my passion for strength training to the next level, qualified as a Level 4 Exercise Specialist in Obesity and Diabetes and set up a fitness company called Get Set Rep!
