As a a highly experienced Strength & Conditioning coach and personal trainer based in West London, I specialise in working with your everyday clients in addition to competitve athletes. With over 10 years of experience in the sports and fitness industry, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Strength & Conditioning Science and have worked with athletes from diverse sports, including Olympic weightlifting, BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), MMA rowing, cycling, sailing, and motorsport.
>I am also a national-level competitor in Olympic weightlifting, actively competing for over a decade. In 2022, I was a part of the Commonwealth Games English training squad, narrowly missing selection for the Games. Despite this, I medaled in numerous national competitions, demonstrating my expertise in pushing athletes to achieve their best.

Jamal is da best. He's definitely the reason I made the transition to Oly from Crossfit and helped me fall in love with weightlifting. He's not only extremely knowledgeable and passionate, he's also an effective communicator, which was made even more evident this last year during remote training. I know I'm in safe hands with Jamal; plus, he's fun to train with. I feel he's genuinely interested in my progress, supporting me and quickly adapting to my needs and niggles without hesitation. Needless to say, I'm a big fan.
I have been a gym bunny for about 15 years doing what bunnies do lol. However the last 2 years have been life changing as that’s when I started valuing body’s functionality. I now put a geat thought on how I move. With that being said my strength development has surprised me, I used to be afraid of heavy weights but with your training and encouragement I have the confidence to handle heavy weights. The icing on top I love how my body composition and structure has developed. Seeing results is motivating.
Since starting training with Jamal a year ago I quickly realised that the training I had been doing beforehand was not as effective as I thought. Jamal has shown me correct technique and put me on a programme where my strength goals have improved immensely. He has a wealth of knowledge and has shown me so many different ways of training and helped with nutrition as well. After an injury where I thought I wouldn’t be able to train, Jamal quickly adjusted my routine and helped put me back on a quicker path to recovery with his expert knowledge. I enjoy and look forward to each training session. Jamal motivates you, quickly identifies your potential and encourages you to meet and surpass your goals and abilities. He makes the sessions fun and we always have a laugh, but never lose the focus of training. I look forward to many more sessions and continued improvement.
I have found that due the past year that with great trainer and encourage you can achieve most things Jamal’s knowledge is incredible He really gets to know you and uses this along with craft knowledge to motivate and empower you to achieve what you did not think you could The programmes are complex and varied so keep you on your toes!!!
I approached Jamal for PT sessions not only because we're old colleagues and friends, but because he has a very specific skillset in Strength and Conditioning coaching that I knew I could gain an education from. I also had my own personal training goals I wanted to achieve. Over the last 3 months of training sessions, Jamal surpassed my expectations as a Coach. He broadened my knowledge, increased my confidence in lifting weights, adjusted my technique and form and gave me huge encouragement to progress further in my training Jamal is a true professional and is hugely approachable and adaptable, tailoring my training sessions to my goals and knowing exactly when to push you hard. Our sessions are always full of laughter and he makes all of them really enjoyable and most importantly, made all of them count towards me being stronger and fitter. As a PT myself, I can say that Jamal is really up there with some of the best PTs I have had the pleasure of working alongside!
