If you're tired of the narrative that smaller is better, and you're done with trying to shrink yourself with years of dieting and restriction, then you've come to the right place! Instead of focusing so much on what you look like, it's time to shift the focus to what you can do and how you feel. Your body (the one you have right now) is AWESOME and it is capable of doing incredible things. All you have to is start. I want you to learn to love the body you have, train it properly, keep it healthy and feeling good, and discover all the amazing things you are able to achieve!
Whatever your goals, my aim is to help you find the best way to train that suits your body and your lifestyle and we'll look at 3 important things: EXERCISE + NUTRITION + MINDSET.
I run my PT sessions outdoors in local parks or I can travel to your home so you don't have to leave the comfort of your living room. I personally love calisthenics (working out using your own bodyweight), so you don't necessarily need any special equipment for our sessions, but I do have dumbbells, kettlebells, bands etc. available for us to use. I also run weekly group fitness classes if you want to add additional workouts to your PT sessions.
I am qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and have been teaching group fitness classes for years. Prior to that I worked as a dancer for over 12 years, so movement and keeping my body healthy has always been central to my life. My passion right now is developing my skills in calisthenics, but I like to think of myself as an all round, hybrid athlete - For me, being truly fit means I am physically capable of doing anything - from running to high intensity training, obstacle courses, hiking, tennis, you name it! I train so that I can live a long & active life, full of adventure & taking on challenges, mobile & pain free, maintaining optimal health and wellbeing.
I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness, and so I've also completed a CPD course in "Mindful Nutrition" which addresses the complex relationship we have with food (with the aim of being able to help you address things like Yo-yo dieting and emotional eating), as well as my Level 1 in Foundations of Wellness Coaching. I've also just completed my qualification to work with ante and post natal women.

The group sessions are full body workouts and easily adapted for all levels, from those who can do pull ups on their own, to those who have never considered one and prefer staying on the ground. The inclusive and supportive atmosphere gets everyone to push their limits. The pt sessions were excellent - personalised, and really focusing on my form and my needs.

"I LOVE what Awesome Bodies stands for and I can't recommend Dani as a trainer more. The world needs more body positivity and Dani is the perfect mix of approachable and motivating! She always makes me want to challenge myself and push myself hard - but it never feels like an impossible task (unlike when I try and fumble my way through the gym alone!) - I've been to her bootcamps and the environment is supportive and inclusive - I've been to others from other PTs where I've felt so out of the loop and either intimidated or not pushed enough.
