With over 15 years as a PT and some of the best qualifications in the industry behind me, you can be confident in my knowledge and experience
I’m lucky enough to have always loved exercise, but I recognise that not everyone feels that way.
I’m not interested in battering you into shape, or squeezing those last painful drops of sweat out of you. I’m interested in getting you fitter and healthier, so that you move and feel better.
My clients tell me things they have noticed they can do easily all the time. Things that used to be difficult or impossible. Things that make them feel more capable, more confident, and more in control. Things that make them value and enjoy exercise.
With over 15 years experience as a personal trainer, and some of the best qualifications in the industry behind me, I’m qualified to work with clients who might be nervous of stepping in a gym because of lack of experience or injury issues such as back pain or poor posture. I specialise in home based training, bringing my knowledge to your home where you can get fit without ever joining a gym.
Underpinning all of my training is a ‘corrective’ approach which helps to balance your body whilst improving your functional fitness. This means addressing flexibility, core condition, and strength as a connected whole, changing those aspects that need attention, and ensuring that we are moving you towards improved physical performance, and away from pain and injury.
This may all sound a bit serious, but I assure you your sessions will not be. I do the thinking behind your work outs so that you don’t have to. Your training will be fun, but purposeful, and I will be there to encourage and motive you along the way.
For keen cyclists and other sports men and women who want to take thier conditioning to the next level I have a Shoredtich gym location too, where I can either train you regularly or coach you through a program you will then work through by yourself.
Prices start from £55.00 per session

Home-based training
I ask my home based PT clients to buy a Swiss Ball and Spin Lock Dumb bell set to keep in their home. To this basic starting kit I add various other tools that I bring and take away for the session. These include a step, bar bell weights, BOSU ball, Kettle Bells, Medicine balls, balance planks and whatever I feel is relevant for an effective varied session, with simple equipment that doesn’t take up too much space.
1:1 studio
In my gym location www.bodystudio.co.uk Shoreditch I am lucky to have access to all the most relevant functional fitness equipment you could want. In particular several cable machines for standing pushes and pulls, together with squat racks for heavier loading and strength development in the various key lifts. These important tools are supplemented by the full gamut of freeweight/functional equipment including Swiss balls, medicine ball, slam balls, tyres etc.
There is also a watt bike available for us to use, a particularly relevant tool for when I’m working with keen cyclists.
