I have over 11 years experience working with clients with goals ranging from pre/postnatal fitness, strength, weight loss and rehab

What Can I Do For You?


My life long passion of participating in team sports led me into a career in personal training when I qualifed as a trainer in 2012, after finishing a degree in coach education and sports development at University of Bath. Since then I have worked with clients with varying ages and needs, including rehabilition, weight loss and strength training. 

Since completing the Resistance Training Specialist course in 2015, I have developed my interest in biomechanics and how the body works. 

In 2019, I completed Immaculate Dissection:Core Concepts, which furthered my interest in the dysfunctions we create through poor breathing mechanics. I gained the knowledge to asses this and also the ability to help improve these poor habits, leading to improved core stability and lower pain throughout the whole body.

Training Methods:

My additional qualifications include Studio Cycling, Les Mills GRIT, gym based boxing, circuit training, Kettle bells and TRX. This enables me to train clients using a wide range of techniques, to make each session new, exciting and challenging.

I am also qualified in GP referral and pre and post natal. Therefore, if you have particular health needs, or are expecting/ given birth recently, I will be able to adapt a session specific to your goals.

I have completed BioLayne Nutrition level 1 qualification so I can provide nutrional advice, including macro nutrient breakdowns and calories for weight loss and/or increase muscle mass.

Whether your goal is weight loss, rehabilitation or just to become more active, I will tailor each session to your needs. We will work together to develop a long term plan that works within your lifestyle, constraints and commitments, which is first and foremost enjoyable.

I have a disabled daughter so it is extremely important I am strong enough to continue to lift her safely. Since starting my sessions with Harriet I have not suffered any of my usual injuries and the permanent low level backache I used to have has completely disappeared. It even feels easier to lift my daughter and I can now hold her for much longer with greater ease despite the fact she has gotten heavier!
