I started training with Mark about two years ago. I’d injured my knee and suffered from a bad back (all at the age of 26, I was the picture of good health). I met Mark at a friend’s house and he persuaded me to come for a boxing lesson with him. Being something of a pacifist and wastrel I was sceptical to say the least, but on arrival, Mark put me at ease. He then spent the next hour doing his best to make me throw up. Despite the pathetic nature of my performance, I returned, I was instantly hooked.
