Course Introduction
This course provides the knowledge and skills that are essential for the planning, instructing and evaluation of a successful one-to-one gym session.
It also provides the underpinning knowledge and skills in preparation for the Diploma in Personal Training and Specialist Diploma in Advanced Personal Training.
Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements
You must be 16 or over and ideally you should have regularly attended a gym.
Additional Information
You will need to compile a portfolio documenting preparation for a gym session. The practical assessment typically occurs at least 4 weeks after the course and you will need to bring a friend to use as a client. To help you prepare for the course and assessment you will have access to an online exercise library.
