This Diploma in Biomechanics Coaching will introduce individuals to methods which can help movement practitioners, strength coaches, personal trainers and manual therapists to identify risks and optimise performance for clients.
The aim of this course is not to replace skills but to hone them all in one place following a simple system based on your expertise, experience and knowledge.This course will provide you with the skills you need to assess your client’s body and understand where there is risk and where you can help them improve
Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements
Level 3 Personal Trainer,
Level 3 Pilates Teacher,
Level 3 Sports Massage,
Level 3 Yoga.

Blended learning with online webinars, videos, manuals + 6 days attendance with a 1hour practice observed assessment and 12 weeks home study plus a 2000 word report over 7-24 months

Introduction to Biomechanics,
- 1. Describe the concept of intrinsic biomechanics,
- 2. Explain how the skeletal, myofascial and neural systems impact on intrinsic biomechanics,
- 3. Define scope of practice as a Biomechanics Coach
- 4. Outline the new, 3-phase model of exercise prescription that takes into account intrinsic biomechanics
