Level 3 Specialist Diploma in Advanced Pilates

Course Introduction

This diploma combines the Diploma in Mat Pilates with three specialist courses. It will enable you to run more inclusive classes, work with a wide range of clients in your community and significantly enhance your teaching skills.

You will be able to support pre- and post-natal clients, assist clients to recover from and avoid repeat injuries and work confidently alongside health professionals such as physiotherapists. You will also learn how to use mat equipment safely and effectively to change the focus of an exercsie or to increase the challenge for participants.

The Specialist Diploma in Advanced Pilates will also give you the expertise and confidence to include and fully support clients with increasingly common conditions affecting the hips, knees, pelvis, lower back, shoulders, elbows and wrists.

Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements

If you don't already have a recognised teaching qualification and evidence of having passed Level 2 Anatomy and Physiology exam to current standards you can still train to become a Pilates teacher.

All you need to do is attend the 3-day Access Mat Pilates course (instead of the 2-day Basic Mat Pilates course) and complete the Anatomy and Physiology e-learning course.
