BMI Ratio
The BMI Ratio, or Body Mass Index, is a simple way for you to use your height and weight, to see if you fall into a specific 'health category'.
What is the Point?
You can calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) by dividing your weight by your height. The resulting score will allow you to see if you fall in the normal range usually said to be 20.1 to 25.0 for men and 18.7 to 23.8 for women.
This is, however, a fairly blunt tool, and your score can be misleading if you are an athlete or body builder, because the extra muscle you carry may tip you BMI score over the normal range.
