Angina

A heart disease caused by narrow arteries, angina can affect anyone, though it is most often found in those over 50. Common symptoms of angina include heaviness, tightness or pain in the middle of the chest, which can also radiate to the arms neck, jaw, face, back or even abdomen.

Treatments vary, but can include the use of statins (drugs that lower your cholesterol level), low-dosage aspirin, or beta-blockers. Surgery is also an option, and is used to widen or replace narrow arteries.
