Zig Zag Women's Fitness & Motivation is a small group weight loss program for Women in South Warwickshire. My 8 Week Forever Kick Start Challenge is an entry program providing the support needed to establish the most impactful habits required to achieve long-lasting success

"I initially started seeing Allison as I wanted to get fit and was worried about my weak lower back.

I feel she really listens and watches carefully to make sure I am doing things safely and correctly. She is super quick to modify and suggest alternatives which is always really reassuring. She has a wealth of experience and expert knowledge and feel in exceptionally capable hands. 
My sessions with Allison always really challenge my body and brain! She instinctively knows when to motivate and what weight or routine will push me to my limit. As a result, I have had plenty of positive comments about my new toned physique. Apart from feeling more toned and healthy though, my attitude to training has changed. A year ago I would not have had the motivation to go out running or cycling on my own - I do now and feel great. "I found Allison through the National Register of Personal Trainers.  I am 47 very over weight, work long hours and I was looking for someone I thought I could relate to and work with,  Allison seemed to fit the bill.   From our first meeting I knew she was the right person for me.  She is tough but realistic in her approach.  She made me really think about why I wanted to get fit and lose weight and then helped me set the goals to get there and stay there.

I was dreading the first assessment:- being weighed, measured and fitness tested.  Allison made the whole process so easy and encouraging.

Having tried all sorts of diets, none of which worked in the long term, Allison’s approach is about life long changes.  I thought this would mean grilled chicken and salad (no mayo) for the rest of my life – how wrong I was.  Her advice on nutrition and the supermarket tour have shown that everything I thought I knew about food, fat, calories etc was wrong.   I have a lot of learning to do and I know that Alison will continue to support me.

I have only just started on my journey to being ‘fit at 50’, but I have never been so enthusiastic or so sure that this time it will work."

"My partner found Allison through the National Register of Personal Trainers. I am 48 years of age, very over weight with type 2 diabetes. I own my own business which means I work long hours mainly sat on my backside in front of a computer.

Allison seemed to fit for what we were looking for as she had a very good understanding of the dietary aspects as well as the exercise coaching which was perfect for what we required. Allison sat down with us and made us think why we wanted to get fit and loose weight and then helped my partner and me to set our personal goals and targets.

At our first assessment being weighed, measured and fitness tested Allison made us feel at ease and has given us the confidence that we needed in making our life changes. The biggest eye opener for me has been her advice on nutrition which has re-educated me and just after a few weeks the results have been amazing, losing 9lbs in weight, reduced blood pressure which has resulted in my medication being reduced and feeling so much better with oneself.

Allison training is tough but she is understanding of your restrictions and has tailored my workouts in conjunction to my diabetes which has put me at ease.

My partner and I are now a few weeks into our programmes and I am feeling energized and looking forward to the future and I know with Allison’s support and guidance I will achieve my goals and the only regret is that I should have done this earlier."
