Level 2 Gym Instructor Course

Course Introduction

Most gyms hire a level 2 gym instructor for general programmes and for supervising the exercising on gym equipment. Gym instructors cannot work with special populations or clients with medical problems. You can also expect to help keep the gym clean and to carry out administrative duties within the gym.

Gym instructors are not permitted to write programmes or work one-on-one their own clients.

FIE has been delivering fitness qualifications and training for over 15 years. The quality of our training is assured with center accreditation through Central YMCA Qualifications, Skills Active and the Register of Exercise Professionals.

Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements

There are no pre-requisites. Everything you need to know will be covered during course. Ideally you will have a keen interest in fitness and already be training yourself.

If you already hold a Level 2 fitness related qualification, you may be eligible for exemptions from certain parts of this course. Please contact one of our career advisers for more information.
