General Fitness Tests
How do you define general fitness? We each have our own idea of what it means to be fit, but without using fitness tests to measure these different elements it all remains somewhat nebulous.
General fitness is likely to combine a variety of elements, including:
- Weight - including concepts such as BMI or body fat percentage
- Endurance - to measure cardio ability
- Strength - across a range of body parts
- Flexibility - your ability to bend (only joking!)
Combining a variety of modes will give the most accurate overall impression of a persons physical status.
