About Me


I know that most of you reading this will have at some point in your life, tried a fad diet or exercise programme that didn’t work.

Maybe you’ve tried many over the years and have been left with the feeling its never going to happen,  if that's true then call me for a chat.

There was a time when a Personal trainer was exclusively for the rich and famous, now everybody can get the help, support and knowledge that they need to achieve their own personal goals

So much money is spent  on gym memberships, you either never go or just skip the part of the programme that you don’t like. With a gym membership there is no diet or nutritional support, no consequence  !!!

If you choose to train with me, there will be no fad diets, Just a sustainable change of lifestyle. This is not a quick fix because quick fixes do not work. Look at the money you have wasted on the gym over the years to probably look and feel the same. At age 54 I had gone to purchase a dress, size 12 as always. The 12 was too small so went for size 14 that was too tight and the assistant offered to get the 16 at that point I declined and called Clare.

I knew I needed to be fitter as I did no exercise and I was a little over weight. I met Clare and liked her immediately. It was clear that if I followed her instructions and worked with her she would support you through the great times and the not so good times. It was particularly difficult for me as I spend much of my working week travelling in and out of Europe. She did an amazing job on my fitness and diet. 14 Months down the line I lost two stone and I am a size 8. Irun between 4 and 15miles each week and am planning my first ½ marathon in March. I have even been seen on a Bicycle in recent months.

I suspect I am one of Clare’s more difficulty challenges but she is a very good Personal trainer and very supportive. There are no excuses she hasn’t heard. I am a mother of 3, 42 years old, I felt slightly overweight, and unfit, I had no time for myself, and I was in great need of motivation!! A friend of mine recommended Clare. I was a little worried at first, as I had never had a personal trainer and I have visions of her cracking her whip and shouting a lot, making me do things I didn't want to do! ... It was certainly not like that. Clare is very friendly, caring and understanding. Clare asked me lots of questions about myself, my needs and my life style. Once she had established what I needed, she wrote me a programme to fit in with my every day life. She also told me to keep a dairy of my eating habits. Once a week Clare would come to my house to go through the programme, the first few times, I wanted to cry!!! (I felt sooo unfit!) but Clare was very supportive and kept me going. After a few weeks I could't believe the difference in myself. My weight had dropped, I had lots of energy and I looked forward to exercising on my own as well as with Clare. I'm still exercising and enjoying it. The best thing of all, is when your friends start noticing the difference and your face lights up when you start to talk about exercising!!!!
