About Me

As an 'ahem - older' trainer myself, I can offer a full spectum of experience, training youngsters through to the maturer client.

What Can I Do For You?

I offer a full range of health and fitness services. 

From private 1-2-1 clients through to classes for yoga, boxercise, HIIT, circuit, LBT and my exclusive mums and tots classes (the only ones of their kind in the local area). 

I love teaching, training and sharing what I know with whoever crosses my path, and have the ability and empathy, (gained through many years of experience) to be able to adapt to whatever the client and situation. 

My past clients have included those with big goals such as:

  • New York and London Marathons.
  • Dakar rally
  • Triathalons

‚ÄčI have also trained those who have the folloing specific health issues:

  • Muscular Dystrophy. 
  • Cancer patients
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Fibromyalgia and MS
  • Stroke patients
  • Numerous knee, hip, ankle, muscle and joint issues. 

I work remotely from people's homes, or since Covid 19 I now offer an online service for clients so they can continue with their training in lockdown while we wait for gyms and classes to open their doors again.

Nutrition and keeping a positive mindset are also high on my agenda in maintaining great health, and I am happy to help advice on either. 

Most importantly though, I believe exercise should be fun. Something that you want to include in your life and not something that you dread. That is why you can expect plenty of giggles and lighter moments as you train.

I knew I needed to do some exercise because of heart disease and Alzheimer’s in the family - and because I got fed up with my husband and children nagging me! 
Helen has made it so easy to start - and to carry on with exercise and healthy eating too. 
She develops a different set of exercises every week that stretch me just enough to make it hard but still enjoyable too. She also builds in allowances for my mobility and physical limitations. 
She’s fun, compassionate and really knows her stuff. I cannot recommend her highly enough. 
She must be good - she’s even got me feeling positive about exercise and I never thought I’d say that! Thanks Helen xx
