My name is Faris Al Amer. I am an international student from Kuwait, currently in my 1st year in BEng Civil Engineering at City University London. I have started going to The Gym Angel at the beginning of January 2015. The main reason for me joining was to find a good way to spend my spare time while I am not studying, as well as living a more healthier lifestyle. Due to lack of experience, I thought it would be a good idea to hire a personal trainer for 1 month to learn the basics. As I was reading the profiles of the trainers on the gym's website, I found Mr Awaiz's profile to be the most impressive due to his experience and qualifications.

As we contacted each other via email, he was very professional and knew exactly what I was trying to achieve by going to the gym. He was very lenient when it came to the timing of our sessions due to my university schedule, which I appreciated tremendously. As we began our first session, I knew that I made the right choice by choosing him as my trainer. We worked extensively on weightlifting and cardio. After 1 month of great results, I knew that I wanted to continue working with him. We soon started working again for a 2nd month, which then became a 3rd month! I never felt better physically in my life! I started to enjoy going to the gym! We also used chat apps on our phones, where he gave me great advices when it came to my diet and overall health. I've started my training with Awaiz in January after having seen his contact details and reference in my gym.

My aim was not only to loose 3 kilos but also to gain muscles to define the body after having had a training pause in autumn.

I always did a lot of sports but mostly endurance sports and I had no idea how to gain muscle mass which is important for fat loss.

Awaiz helped me to reach these goals. I've regularly send him my diet plans and he gave me advice in nutrition. After more than 10 years I'm able to have breakfast in the morning and eat less in the evening which helps to improve my diet.

He showed me effective muscle and cardio exercises and we implemented these in my daily training routine.

We train once per week and I try to do 2 sessions per week on my own.

Awaiz is really good in motivating and takes out the best of me. Even if I'm tired before the training he is able to motivate me and makes me feeling better afterwards.

After 4 months, I feel healthier, gained muscle mass, lost 3 kilos and feel more comfortable with my body.
