I had been thinking about my fitness and all around health as I turned a year older (42) and I was recommended the Ethos Bootcamp by a friend. I went to a couple of them to see what it was all about and really enjoyed them, tough but rewarding. After meeting Neil and talking to him about what I wanted to achieve I decided to go all in and work with Neil on a one to one basis as well as the Bootcamps I was attending. I have been going to 2 bootcamps a week plus a one to one session every week and have seen fantastic results. Neil’s approach and advice on nutrition has completely changed my diet and my overall regime. The net result is that in less than 3 months I have lost 12KG, lost body fat and started to gain muscle mass. I played my first rugby match of the season last week and the work has paid off. Stronger, faster, better recovery etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Neil to produce the results that you want. Cheers Neil.

I had seen Ethos BootCamps and also some one-to-one sessions that were taking place at Lloyd Park (for a year or so) - I delayed getting in touch with Neil (thinking I should get to some of level of fitness before starting). However, I now know that you should not delay - and get stuck in straight away. The BootCamp sessions are a lot of fun and Neil takes care to introduce you to each exercise and assesses your capability - these sessions are very friendly and not 'macho or intimidating', there is no peer pressure - we are all there for the one thing - to get fitter and enjoy the benefits that come with that… (de-stress, wellbeing, and definitely drop a few pounds : ) BootCamp is not just for the 'boys' - in fact the Monday session has more 'girls' attending. I have just started some 'PT sessions' (personal training) to get more targeted one-to-one advice from Neil. I am not disappointed - incredibly patient and thorough to understand my 'body's history' - what to look out for and tailor the exercises accordingly. Then there is the food intake part of the 'getting fitter and healthier' equation - Neil has that covered too and has lots of recipes and guidance… I could go on… one of my better decisions!

Myself and my wife have been training with Neil for nearly a year now, and we thoroughly enjoy that you just pitch up, and Neil does all the hard work for you of planning your exercise routine and you getting a fully balanced workout. There is always some nice calorie burning surprise in store, hence the centimetres falling of our waste lines. On top of the exercise Neil also does sport massaging. I had an issue with a recurring headache(every day) that lasted for nearly a month. Neil suggested to have a sports massage as it might be a muscle spasm that triggers the headaches. I had a sports massage and the headache have not returned for 2 weeks now. If only I had the massage a month and a halve earlier I would have had a headache free holiday in South Africa in January. I would definitely recommend Neil's services for anyone that needs that bit of support to get of the sofa, and get into shape with a tailor made exercise routine.

I just yesterday passed my pre joining fitness test for the Royal Marines, with a strong score. I can’t thank Neil enough for training me these last few months at the bootcamp on a Monday night as attending these has rapidly increased my fitness and endurance to a level that I had never reached before and ultimately helped with my test. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in a career in the marines and needs to boost their fitness or even just those looking to get fit in general. The classes are hard work but are most enjoyable.

Neil is a brilliant trainer, with a deep understanding and commitment to correct form. After incurring several motivation-destroying injuries attempting barbell training before working with Neil, I bit the bullet and signed up for a one-to-one training plan. Neil immediately identified where I was going wrong with certain lifts and helped me put in place simple steps for each exercise to ensure I lift safely. My lifts now feel more natural and safer, I am enjoying training again and I feel much more confident. I'm already seeing big changes to my body and am excited to see how far I can go under his guidance. More generally, Neil offers great motivation and advice on diet, mobility and ways to train smarter. I cannot recommend him more highly.

One of the most important elements to changing your body shape, is developing your lifestyle into a healthy, enjoyable one. Neil is a nutritionist and educated me on a wide range of practical nutritional advice, which enabled me to overhaul the sorts of foods I was eating. 80% of your success comes down to eating the right sorts of nutrients. The remaining 20% is addressed with high intensity workouts, that will strengthen and tone your whole body. Absolutely superb, no nonsense fitness trainer. Over the years my weight had crept up. I initially had online training with Neil, then moved on to bootcamps. The bootcamps are absolutely brilliant. It’s great being outdoors, circuit training with a group of people that become friends and such a motivating, friendly professional who I am proud to call my personal trainer. Over the 5 months I have known him, he has helped me lose 10kg and I’m now down to 25% body fat so far. With little convincing, he has changed my way of thinking from a goal purely about weight loss, to new goals of wanting to be fitter and stronger, to see, feel and realise my potential physically. Whether you go for online, one to one training or bootcamps, Neil will teach you to be accountable for your diet and fitness and help you to achieve your goals. I now also run outdoors which Neil has helped me successfully reintroduce without it being onerous and injury. The circuit training is challenging but fun and includes a variety of weight training/ body weight, functional exercises with HIIT. You’ll learn a lot about all sorts of exercises from an expert (battle ropes, flipping tyres anyone ?!). Neil is a font of knowledge when it comes to diet and fitness and has taught me how to eat better: through targeting both, the weight loss and increase in fitness has been beyond my expectations.
