I am a level 4 personal trainer who provides a wide range of Personal Training services for anyone who wants to improve or maintain their fitness; from a holistic approach to high level HIIT, Tabata or Boot Camps sessions.  My Personal Training services help anyone who struggles with self motivation and needs expert advice, support and encouragement to meet their weight loss, fitness and rehabilitation goals. What Can I Do For You?

I encourage a positive focus to keeping fit, no matter what your starting point. Together we will discuss your personal goals and outline a programme to help achieve them. I can train you online or 1-1 in your home, at your place of work, at a local park, or in a private personal training studio at a time convenient to you. In addition I offer massage therapy where through use of soft tissue manipulation and massage, the prevention and treatment of injuries can be maintained. With 32 years of experience within the fitness industry. I have an extensive knowledge of training. From 1988 to 1995 I worked for Fitness for Industry (FFI) a company which offered corporate health and fitness services to hotels and corporate businesses, where I covered a number of health clubs in my role as a Mobile Manager. Following this I set up and managed, 4 new fitness facilities covering over 4000 members, offering a full fitness regime - a wide range of fitness classes, swimming programmes and galas. I have had the personal privilege of gaining three Olympic certificates in each of the gyms I have managed by offering Personal Training services for future and potential Olympians.

Carl Dean is without doubt the best personal trainer I've ever had. I'm pretty fit and motivated but like to be pushed, especially on those dark, winter days when you really feel that you cannot go out in the cold and do any exercise. Carl has always spurred me on and kept me going. He constantly thinks of new exercises to keep me on my toes and thanks to him, after a year of seeing him twice a week, I'd lost 6% of body fat and had greater muscle definition. Although I only see him twice a week, he's always keen to come up with new programmes for me to do by myself. Plus he's relentlessly cheerful, which helps when you're doing more press ups than you think can be good for you.

I met Carl Dean in February 2004 after moving to the Cheltenham area. I'd had a succession of personal trainers while living in London and Carl is number one. Given my hectic, stressful lifestyle I knew I needed to find someone who could put a training plan together and motivate me. Overweight and with my wedding less than five months away Carl's skills showed results almost immediately. I lost a stone and 5% Body fat. Since starting my training with Carl Dean, I have found pleasure, excitement and satisfaction from exercise that 10 years worth of gym memberships have failed to ignite. I have access to a private personal training studio with the use of the following: Treadmill, Bike, Cross Trainer, Rower, Free weights. I also travel to your home and provide a Personal Training session with the following: Stability Balls, Bean, Boxing Gloves and Pads, CV Equipment, Trampolines, Resistance Bands, Medicine Balls, Steps, Free Weights & Barbells. Fitness testing equipment including heart rate monitor, BP machine, blood cholesterol tests.
