Course Introduction
As well as learning the background to Kettlebell training, it's history and the benefits of training with kettlebells, this course will help students enhance their confidence and to develop their natural passion for teaching and moving with music.
You will have the chance to improve their ability to structure routines to the beat of music tracks and gain skills to plan through your clients natural progression from basic training all the way through to advanced kettlebell exercises and muscle building techniques.
This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to safely and effectively teach clients a range of kettlebell exercises including basic, intermediate and advanced lifts.
Pre-requisities / Entry Requirements
A Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing or Aerobics. You should also be physically fit, as this is a strenuous course.
Additional Information
This course assessment consists of 2 short practical observations by your tutor during the 2-day course.

- Background, history and benefits of training with kettlebells
- Important health and safety considerations including contraindications
- Instruction in kettlebell specific warm-ups and how to teach them
- Instruction and practice of over 25 different kettlebell exercises including swings, cleans, jerks, presses, Turkish get-up, windmill
- Remedial drills to correct poor kettlebell technique
- How to integrate kettlebell training alongside other training methods
- How to target specific client goals with relevant kettlebell exercises
- Construction of kettlebell training programmes including complexes, circuits and group training
- An overview of kettlebell sport and competition
What Qualification Will I Get?
On successful completion you will receive a Future Fit School of Personal Training certificate and 16 REPs CPD points.
