Matteo graduated from the University of Bath with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science, providing him with the initial foundations of his training philosophy. Matteo went on to work within elite sports for 4 years as a Strength & Conditioning coach at Southampton and Arsenal Football Clubs. Wanting to have a greater impact across the general population Matteo founded MC Peak Performance & Fitness with an aim to deliver elite training services to all.

Matteo’s training packages aim to teach you how to train better and recover smarter. Ultimately providing the foundations for long term positive change, and reaching your peak performance. Training sessions are tailored to your individual needs, along with diet and lifestyle advice to match. Matteo offers personal training sessions in monthly packages, which will teach you new exercises and how to progress them over the weeks. There are both one on one or group training options.

Matteo makes every training session fun and challenging. With progressive overload and variety to shock the body. The bedrock of all Matteo’s programming is strength training, with the ability to move correctly through the full range of motion being paramount. Research shows strength training to be the most effective tool for both weight loss and muscle gain goals. Meticulous planning goes into each individuals training plans to give them the best possible chance of success.
